Martin Luther King Jr.
This week in RE we have been studying Martin Luther King Jr. and how he made a difference to the world due to his faith. The children really enjoyed learning about him and have learnt lots of facts about him. Below is a video all about him.
English
In English we have been looking at Roald Dahl, we have learnt lots about him and his life by writing a biography and now we are beginning to look at his work. This week we focused on his 'dirty beast' poems and wrote our own rhyming poem on a animal of our choice.
Maths
We have continued to look at fractions, this week we have focused on equivalent fractions and what this means. On Mondays we have started doing multiplication practice lessons to help us prepare for the multiplication check in June, we are getting so good at times tables!
