Welcome

Nightingale

Welcome to Nightingale Class.  We hope to share all the exciting and wonderful things we will be learning about in Year 1 and 2.

In Nightingale class we love to have fun in a nurturing environment which enables us to learn and discover the world around us and become the best we can be.  Please check in regularly to see what we have been doing and the learning we have completed.

At Holbrook Primary School, our school year is divided into four blocks.

Block One will run from 4th September until 15th November.  Within this block we are looking forward to having lots of new experiences that will support and enhance our learning.  Please read on to find out more about what we will be covering over the next ten weeks.

During the first week we learnt about the life of Florence Nightingale and why our class is named after them. Please ask your child about what they have learnt as they are full of facts!   If you would like to know some more information about Florence Nightingale please click on the links below.
