week 1

This week we have been looking at the deeper meaning of festivals in RE and focused on Diwali. We enjoyed the story of Rama and Sita and why Hindus celbrate Diwali. We even made our own candle holder out of clay!

In this video we see some children celebrate Diwali, the festival of light which marks the start of the Hindu New Year.
