Block Two-Week One
Welcome to Block 2!
This week, Year 2 children have started to practise their Nativity parts with Miss Bradshaw. How exciting!
We have been very engaged with our new topic "What countries are in Europe." We started our topic by looking at an atlas and finding a map of Europe. Later on in the week, we then found the countries on a map and then found out some wonderful facts about the countries. Please see our photographs below. Ask me about the facts!
In English, we planned and wrote our own adventure stories. We had a variety of awesome ideas. In Maths this week, we have been thinking of different methods to problem solve. We have looked at using a part, part whole method, a bar model and using counting objects.
