week 2
This week we started to learn about states of matter as our topic. We have been looking at the different properties of solids, liquids and gases. For example, we know that solids have a fixed shape, we learnt that some solids can be soft and some can be hard. We know that liquids can be poured and take the shape of their container, and we know that gases can fill a room as they have no fixed shape.
In English we have been looking at expanded noun phrases to begin writing our own story. We are eventually going to be writing a story that includes an issue or dilemma in the middle, the main character will be a talking animal which is linked to our class book, 'Charlotte's Web.'
In Maths we have looked at 'Roman Numerals' and 'Rounding to ten and a hundred.'
