West Wiltshire Dance Festival KS2 - Feb 2020
Our amazing KS2 Dance Club took part in the West Wiltshire Dance Festival at The Forum in Bath. This year the theme was 'Our Wonderful World'.
Pupils worked collaboratively with Miss Bradshaw over months at after school club to choreograph a routine that they would perform on the night. The dance carried an important moral message: diversity is the one thing we all have in common. The music included the iconic audio clip from 1963 as Martin Luther King Jr addresses the civil rights march in Washington DC. Although the dance opened with conflict, it soon evolved into a celebration of diversity in our wonderful world.
It was a wonderful evening and a spectacular performance from Holbrook. A very proud moment for all involved.
