Week Eight
Welcome to Week Eight!
This week, we started our Science topic. We looked at different pulls and pushes. In Mathematics, Year 2 pupils were introduced to using a column method for addition. Look at our wonderful work below! Year 3 pupils applied their times table knowledge into different activities.
In English, we planned and wrote our own innovated versions of the traditional tale 'Cinderella.' We changed the Fairy Godmother character. We had lots of wonderful ideas. Including a genie that transported Cinderella to the ball on a magic, flying carpet!
In Guided Reading, we became 'Rex the Retriever' and we spoke about our favourite parts of the story and identified the setting and the main characters. We have loved reading 'George's Marvellous Medicine.' We found it hard to only read a few chapters a day!
