Week Six
Welcome to Week Six!
In English this week, we have explored informal and formal letters. We wrote letters to Redgrave Class to say thank you for having us in their class last week. We also wrote formal letters to local supermarkets.
In Guided Reading this week, we have been introduced to a new story called "Leon and the Place Between" by Angela McAllister and Grahame Baker-Smith. We looked at the front cover, back cover and the first page. We have made lots of predictions about what we think the story could be about. We have been awesome Predicting Pip's this week!
In Mathematics this week, Year 3 pupils started to look at different methods to add and subtract. Year 2 pupils looked at Place Value.
In Science this week, we looked at different light sources and the dark. We also looked at reflective materials and torches.
In our Martial Arts lesson this week, we are starting to get ready for our grading. Watch this space!
