Week Three
Welcome to Week 3!
This week, we have been busy learning our songs for our Nativity (Year 2) and our Christingle (Year 3). We made Darwin Classroom look very festive by making decorations and putting up the Christmas tree. (See the picture below)
In English, we have written some wonderful poems based on the famous poem "What is Pink?" by Christina Rossetti. We added similes and adjectives.
In Guided Reading this week, we became Rex the Retriever and looked at getting information from the story book 'Amazing Grace.'
In Art this week, we looked at the artist Martha McDonald and we started to use her style to draw our own pictures.
